Matthew Trezza is an associate in Coffey Modica O’Meara Capowski’s White Plains office. Focused on litigation since law school, Matthew is well-positioned to handle the most complex matters for his clients, having worked as an agency attorney for the Administration for Children’s Services.
In this role, Matthew handled an active docket of cases, each requiring extensive investigation and analysis to determine the appropriate litigation strategy. He not only triaged cases effectively, but he perfected his legal writing skills, having drafted numerous pleadings, motions and memorandums of law related to his cases.
He also gained invaluable experience in the courtroom, advocating on his client’s behalf and appearing before judges with compelling arguments supported by relevant evidence derived from his in-depth research and interviews with witnesses and experts.
Matthew also brings to his clients the benefit of working in state and federal court through his internships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York and the District Attorney’s Offices in Nassau and Queens counties.
