Christopher Bitar

Christopher Bitar handles a wide range of litigation matters as an associate in Coffey Modica O’Meara Capowski’s Buffalo office.  Chris’s cerebral approach and potent pen make him an asset to defendants in both commercial and insurance defense matters with millions on the line.

A lifelong Buffalonian, Chris previously served as an associate with another Buffalo defense firm, as an extern with the Hon. Mark J. Grisanti, and, during law school, as a clerk at an Erie County plaintiff’s firm.  These experiences have left him deeply versed in both New York law and the fast-paced practice of litigation, enabling Chris to quickly comprehends complex cases and provide clients clear guidance.

Chris earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the SUNY Buffalo School of Law, where he was in the top 5% of his class and Publications Editor of the Buffalo Law Review.  He holds a B.S. in economics from Buffalo State College.
